Who we are

Wayfarer Cafe has been feeding Osmaston Road for years, and most mornings you'll spot the same faces at the same tables. We're a proper independent café: the kettle is always on, the grill starts early, and the plates go out full.
Breakfast is what we're known for — cooked to order and generous enough to keep you going. Through the morning it rolls into brunch, sandwiches, cobs and hot lunches, with a counter of cakes for anyone who's earned one.
Prices are honest, the welcome is genuine, and if you need something vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, just say — we'll do what we can. Eat in, take away, or bring the whole family. There's a highchair if you need one.
